Abby Akins is a Georgia based artist. She graduated with a BA in Art History in 2009 and went on to a career in the legal field as a litigation paralegal specializing in employment and family law which she still practices. After beating breast cancer in 2022, she is now in recovery and finally doing what she has always wanted to do - simply being an artist. 

Away from the studio, Abby enjoys the outdoors, wake surfing, spending time with her family and rescue animals, as well as advocating in local non-profits and mental health organizations.
